Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We carefully review the captured images and eliminate duplicates, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Q: Does your studio provide videography services?
A: Yes. To see examples of our videography services, click on "other photography services" tab on our site.
Q: Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?
A: Yes we do destination weddings. The additional fees would be for whatever travel costs are incurred for the travel. Since destinations and travel expenses vary, the total additional costs would need to be assessed on a wedding by wedding basis.
Q: Do you provide partial day coverage?
A: Yes. However we do have a 3 hour minimum requirement.
Q: Does your studio do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, newborn shoots, commercial photography, or other types of photography?
A: Yes, we have experience in many fields of photography. Please see our "other photography services" tab on our site and feel free to contact us.
Q: What is your photography style?
A: If I could provide a simple answer it is diversified. We try our best to adapt to what our clients needs, so if you wanted a candid (photojournalistic) approach instead of capturing formals we would adjust accordingly. Generally speaking, most clients like to have a combination of candid and formal photography.To see examples of our quality and style, please visit our Portfolio as well as our Blog.
Q: Can I see a full event from start to finish?
A: Of course! We pride ourselves on the consistency of our work. We understand all photographers post their best shots from each wedding on their websites so it’s hard to determine how well he or she will perform on the wedding day. That is why we encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.
Q: My venue is very dark. How does your studio handle these situations and can I see samples?
A: We have shot in the darkest of dark chapels and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures
Q: Do you retouch all our images?
A: Every image we deliver is post produced with our unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, and other minor corrections. If you would like any additional retouching to your images, there would most likely be an additional retouching charge depending on the request.
Q: Do you shoot in JPEG or Raw?
A: We shoot all of our images in Raw. This is to allow for maximum flexibility in editing your images. However the images you receive will saved in JPEG format in High Resolution.
Q: What happens if we need to go over the contracted amount of time?
A: If you would like us to stay for additional coverage, no worries, there will be just the additional hour charge as outlined in your wedding contract.
Q: How many images do you typically deliver from a wedding?
A: It depends on the amount of time of the wedding package and the event. Most weddings we do yield anywhere from 500 - 1000 images.
Q: Can I add more images to my album that is included in our package?
A: Yes. Additional pages can be added at $5 per page. Generally we recommend 4-5 images per page.
Q: What rights do I have to my images?
A: As our wedding packages clearly point out, we do not watermark or copyright the images so you can do whatever you like with the images.
Q: Do you back up our images? How can we ensure that our images won’t be lost?
A: Yes we back up the images immediately following the wedding. We also store your images online with cloud storage and will provide you a zip drive with images.
Q: How do I reserve you for my date?
A: All dates are reserved once we receive your signed contract and deposit.
Q: What are our payment options? Is there an additional fee if we pay via credit card?
A: We accept Venmo, Check, Cash, or Credit Card. The retail adjustment fee for all credit card transactions is 3.5% of the charged amount.
Q: If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our holding deposit back?
A: Unfortunately no. Holding Deposits are used to reserve your date. Once we’ve reserved your date, we do not accept new clients for your date, so we will have lost out on that potential income. This is standard in wedding photography.
